PULCF provides educational enrichment by mentoring, tutoring students and providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Over the years through various programs we have touched different segments of the Prince George’s County community. Through programs such as: Youth Leadership Development Institute (YLDI) with middle school; Beautillion Academy for the High School and Scholarship awards to high school seniors; Continuing scholarship awards to some in college; Annual Men’s Health Forum; Father’s Day Breakfast, Monthly Feed the Families and Food Baskets at holidays for needy families and seniors. PULCF is pursuing outreach initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Prince George’s County residents – especially the youth. Our desire is to expand our programs to include men’s health with special emphasis on prostate cancer screening and prevention; HIV/AIDS prevention; Elder care; domestic violence and bullying to name a few. In addition to this, the Charitable Foundation envision a fundraising goal which will result in a multi-use, income-generating facility which will also house the Charitable Foundation.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for Prince George's County residents through community-based programs, social policy, health advocacy, and educational scholarship.
